Ski Tour "LAGAZUOI"

The pistes are splendid, professionally maintained and suitable for everyone. The descent from Lagazuoi to Armentarola is particularly spectacular.

It starts from the Hotel Savoia., with the skilift number 123 which connects with the 6-seater Belvedere lift number 107, travels down into Arabba, across the village and up, with the Burz chairlift, to the Bec de Roces Mountain Refuge, down to Passo Campolongo, up with the chairlift at Monte Cherz, down into the valley with the lifts at Cherz on the opposite side, and up again with the chairlift at Prà Longià leading to the long descent to Armentarola (pay attention to the diversions, keep to the right and follow the directions for Armentarola). From here, it's possible to go up to Passo Valparola and Passo Falzerego with one of the numerous shuttles or skibuses, then continue up with the skilift to Lagazuoi (2,800 metres) which has breathtaking views, take the Armentarola piste which passes by the Scottoni Mountain Refuge and spectacular icefalls. On the valley floor, a romantic horse-drawn sledge connects with the Armentarola skilift, then go down to San Cassiano, and up to Piz Sorega where the pistes lead to Prà Longià, and then on to the Cherz ski station in the valley, which in turn takes you up to Passo Campolongo, up to Bec Roces, down again to Arabba, up to Porta Vescovo, where a left turn takes you back to Passo Pordoi and the Hotel Bed and Breakfast Gonzaga once again.
